You'll join the Payments Identity team at Waymo to build backend infrastructure handling financial transactions and user identity. Your work ensures every ride is billed correctly and payments processed securely, supporting scalable operations as Waymo expands to new markets.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and ship billing and payment capabilities end-to-end
• Build systems with focus on correctness and data integrity
• Integrate third-party payment providers for seamless user experience
• Scale the payments platform to handle increased volume and complexity

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of backend programming experience
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
• Excellent collaboration skills for cross-functional work

• Experience in C++
• Familiarity with Google infrastructure tools
