๐ผ About This Role
You'll own the consumer mobile app end-to-end across iOS and Android for a stealth-mode consumer hardware startup. The app covers discovery, purchase, setup, and daily control of a computer-vision-powered connected product. You'll define the architecture, ship commerce experiences, and build the measurement pipeline using AprilTag fiducials. This is a foundational hire with massive scope and impact.
๐ฏ What You'll Do
- Own architecture, delivery, and quality of the consumer app in iOS and Android.
- Design and ship the commerce experience, including payments and order flows.
- Build computer-vision-based measurement pipeline: AprilTag detection, pose estimation, camera calibration, multi-frame fusion.
- Build BLE / Wi-Fi connectivity layer and device control surface.
- Set up and maintain app's production infrastructure: CI/CD, crash reporting, analytics, feature flags, release management.
๐ Requirements
- 5+ years shipping production consumer mobile apps.
- Deep expertise in SwiftUI or Kotlin/Compose with working knowledge of the other.
- Direct experience shipping commerce features: checkout, payments (Stripe, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
- Hands-on experience with AprilTag, ArUco, ChArUco, or comparable fiducial/feature-based tracking.

- Background in AR, 3D reconstruction, or spatial computing.
- Experience at an early-stage startup shipping both hardware and software.
- Subscription or recurring-revenue commerce experience.
