💼 About This Role

You'll own Circuit's security posture end-to-end, spanning application, infrastructure, and business systems. You will drive security compliance and incident preparedness in a fast-moving AI startup. This hands-on director role reports to the CTO and involves direct customer and investor interactions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own company-wide security and compliance, including SOC 2 audits.
• Define and enforce security policies, standards, and controls.
• Lead security incident preparedness and response.
• Oversee security monitoring infrastructure (EDR, SIEM).

📋 Requirements

• Proven track record owning security end-to-end at a fast-moving tech company.
• Deep knowledge of SOC 2 Type II and audit experience.
• Hands-on experience with EDR, SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and secrets management.
• Ability to read and write code in one or more languages.

✨ Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and ISO 42001.
• Experience securing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Direct application infrastructure experience (containers, Kubernetes, EKS, EC2).
