Description
You will help drive the creative vision for Minecraft, designing and implementing new gameplay features for over 100 million players. You'll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team and the community throughout the entire development process.
Requirements
- Experience with gameplay design in the games industry
- Good knowledge of game design and contextualized design
- Desire to be part of a creative and highly collaborative team
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic understanding of Java and C++ development
Responsibilities
- Execute on the creative vision of Minecraft
- Collaborate with artists, audio designers, engineers, and others from ideation to release
- Drive creation of design ideas and concepts for new and existing features
- Lead design discussions and elevate understanding of game design principles
- Test, evaluate and balance designs with Data Science and Community Developers
