Description
You will lead product marketing for CarGurus' consumer products, defining the value proposition and go-to-market strategy. You'll partner with Product and Marketing teams to deliver consumer insights that shape the product roadmap and drive product success, ensuring a delightful consumer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (writing-intensive and/or quantitative major preferred)
- 8+ years of experience, with at least 5+ years in product marketing; consumer/B2C or marketplace experience strongly preferred
- 2+ years of people management experience, including directly managing and developing product marketers or adjacent marketing roles
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for creating compelling content
- Demonstrated track record leading GTM strategy and execution for consumer products
Responsibilities
- Own product marketing strategy across the consumer journey (awareness, consideration, decision, purchase, engagement, retention) for our consumer experience
- Define and refine the overarching consumer value proposition and product positioning, clearly articulating what makes CarGurus different and better
- Partner with Consumer Product to influence the product roadmap with customer, competitive, and performance insights
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of Product Marketing Managers, fostering a high-bar, low-ego culture
- Lead cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering to bring launches and optimizations to market on time
