Description

You will own and drive refurbed's initiative to lower VAT on circular products in Sweden, building the company's political footprint from scratch. This role involves strategic advocacy, relationship-building with Swedish political stakeholders, and cross-functional collaboration to turn policy change into measurable environmental impact.

Requirements

• 2–5 years experience in public affairs, government relations, or politics
• Deep understanding of Swedish political and legal system
• Existing network in Sweden or ability to build one quickly
• Fluent in Swedish (native) and English
• Motivated by sustainability and circular economy

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the 0% VAT project end-to-end from strategy to legislative progress
• Build and manage refurbed's political stakeholder landscape in Sweden
• Identify and shape legislative opportunities, prepare consultations and hearings
• Represent refurbed externally on public affairs topics in Sweden
• Support EU-level public affairs activities in coordination with central team
