Description
You will guide Spring Health through complex global regulatory landscapes, translating regulations into practical guardrails and partnering with product, clinical, and operational teams to scale responsibly. This hands-on role offers the chance to build structure and clarity where laws are fragmented, directly shaping how mental healthcare is delivered worldwide.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active US state bar membership in good standing
- 5+ years legal experience in regulated industries (healthcare, health tech, digital health)
- Experience advising on international/cross-border regulatory issues (EU frameworks, global digital health standards)
- Ability to assess risk and provide legally sound, business-aligned recommendations
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary legal advisor on global regulatory issues (healthcare, digital health, telehealth, AI regulation)
- Assess regulatory risk across new and existing markets and prioritize focus
- Advise product and engineering teams on regulatory implications of new features
- Partner with clinical teams on professional practice standards, licensure, and scope of care
- Support regulatory diligence for customer inquiries, RFPs, and enterprise partnerships
