Description

You will lead MIL-STD-882E compliant System Safety Programs for defense systems, coordinating with integrated product teams and customer safety authorities to achieve formal safety approval from development through disposal.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience leading MIL-STD-882E compliant System Safety Programs
• Ability to coordinate with government approval authorities across program phases
• Interpret system requirements, customer specifications, and military standards

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant System Safety Programs
• Perform MIL-STD-882E hazard and design analyses
• Coordinate with customer safety representatives for Safety Review Board approvals
• Collaborate with integrated product teams to eliminate hazards and implement risk controls
• Prepare internal and customer-facing reports documenting safety analyses
