💼 About This Role

You'll own the mechanical design of next-generation Mashgin kiosks from concept to mass production, working cross-functionally in a hybrid setting. Your work will directly impact real-world checkout experiences used by millions. This role offers extreme ownership in a well-funded, profitable AI startup.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design major kiosk subsystems from concept to production
• Develop manufacturable designs for sheet metal, plastics, and CNC parts
• Create and manage BOMs, engineering documentation, and 2D drawings with GD&T
• Collaborate with electrical, thermal, and software teams for integration

📋 Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering
• 5+ years of mechanical design experience in high-volume hardware
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with strong GD&T and tolerance stack-up
• Hands-on experience with DFM and mass production processes

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with high-volume contract manufacturers overseas
• Knowledge of electro-mechanical integration (displays, cameras, sensors)
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency
