💼 About This Role

You'll join a field team mapping sidewalks across the Chicago metro using computer vision equipment. You'll walk assigned routes daily to capture high-resolution imagery and log infrastructure issues like trip hazards. This role combines outdoor fieldwork with technology-driven data collection for real-world infrastructure decisions.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Traverse assigned routes on foot to capture imagery and spatial data.
• Scan and manually log sidewalk infrastructure issues.
• Use DeepWalk-provided iPhones to scan locations.
• Ensure all data is uploaded daily with high accuracy.

📋 Requirements

• 18 years or older with a high school diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license with good record.
• Comfortable using iOS/iPhone, GPS, and mapping apps.
• Ability to walk 8-10 miles per day on uneven terrain.

• Engineering student with interest in civil infrastructure.
• Photography or GIS knowledge.
• Previous field experience in surveying or construction inspection.
