Description

As a Staff Data Scientist at PandaDoc, you will be a senior analytical leader driving a data-driven culture. You will own the experimentation roadmap, apply causal inference methods, and partner with product, engineering, and executive leadership to uncover insights that shape strategic decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of applied data science or product analytics experience
• B.A./B.S. in quantitative discipline; Master's preferred
• Expertise in causal inference methods (e.g., diff-in-diff, PSM, IV)
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling
• Expert-level SQL and experience with data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake)

Responsibilities

• Lead the experimentation roadmap focusing on customer workflows, churn risk, and LTV
• Design and analyze complex A/B tests and causal inference studies
• Conduct deep dive analysis to discover latent user behavior and root causes
• Define and govern a unified KPI framework mapping product health to business outcomes
• Mentor junior and mid-level data scientists on statistical rigor and experimental design
