💼 About This Role

You'll architect site-level control systems for Mainspring's Linear Generator technology, designing communication backbones for microgrids and DER integration. Your work will enable seamless integration with solar, storage, and utility-scale power plants.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead architectural design of site-level control systems
• Design OPC-UA and Modbus communication interfaces
• Drive SCADA and HMI development with diagnostic visibility
• Develop DERMS and microgrid integration strategies

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years in commercial power generation or industrial automation
• Expert proficiency in IEC 61131-3 for local machine control
• Deep hands-on experience with SCADA, HMI, and PLCs/PACs
• Expert-level understanding of OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, DNP3

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with grid interconnection standards (IEEE 1547, UL 1741)
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (NERC CIP, etc.)
• Background in Python or C++ for industrial applications
