💼 About This Role

You'll support Certn's UK and EMEA privacy and regulatory compliance program for background screening services. You'll manage privacy rights requests, maintain compliance documentation, and provide practical support to internal teams and customers. This role offers the chance to deepen expertise in privacy and compliance within a high-growth technology company.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Support UK/EU GDPR compliance activities and privacy rights requests.
• Maintain privacy documentation like RoPA, DPIA, and transfer records.
• Assist with DBS, Disclosure Scotland, and AccessNI compliance frameworks.
• Respond to client inquiries on data handling and regulatory requirements.

📋 Requirements

• Experience in data protection, privacy, or regulatory compliance.
• Practical exposure to UK/EU GDPR and privacy rights requests.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting DSARs or data breach response activities.

✨ Nice to Have

• CIPP/E, CIPM, or equivalent privacy certification.
• Experience in background screening or regulated tech environment.
• Familiarity with DBS, Disclosure Scotland, or AccessNI.
