💼 About This Role

You'll join the Data Stores team at Webflow, owning the reliability and scalability of core datastores like MongoDB and PostgreSQL. You'll partner cross-functionally to support new use cases and reduce toil through automation. This role offers the chance to be one of the first members of the new Buenos Aires office, helping define the team culture.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own reliability and scalability of core datastores (MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Design and implement automation for provisioning, upgrades, and backups.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement durable fixes for systemic issues.
• Establish guardrails and best practices for datastore adoption across teams.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years building and debugging distributed systems in production.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL performance tuning.
• Experience supporting multiple teams on shared datastore infrastructure.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience designing datastore platforms used by many teams.
• Led data migrations or major version upgrades in production.
• Experience with managed database services like MongoDB Atlas or RDS.
