Description

You will own the data backbone for the Product organization, ensuring product analytics are reliable, usable, and scalable. You will define event taxonomy, tracking standards, and metric definitions, while working closely with Product, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to build systems that enable accurate measurement and governance.

Requirements

• 8+ years in B2B SaaS across Product Analytics, Product Operations, or Data Engineering
• Advanced SQL skills (complex joins, validation, Snowflake preferred)
• Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel)
• Experience designing event taxonomies and metric definitions
• Ability to influence without formal authority

Responsibilities

• Own product data definitions, event taxonomy, and tracking standards
• Ensure product usage data is correctly instrumented, validated, and consistently implemented
• Define and enforce data governance practices for a single source of truth
• Enable PMs with clear frameworks for metrics and tracking
• Write SQL to troubleshoot discrepancies and verify data correctness
