💼 About This Role

You'll own the core building blocks of Temporal's durable execution platform, defining the strategy for Workflows, Activities, and other primitives. Your work will directly shape how thousands of companies build reliable applications. This role offers the chance to influence both product direction and technical architecture across multiple SDKs.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Generate area strategy connecting primitives into a coherent thesis
• Drive 1-pagers and PRDs for primitive improvements
• Own cross-SDK delivery coordinating with Go, Java, TypeScript, Python, .NET teams
• Run customer validation to prioritize primitive gaps

📋 Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience with platform/infrastructure products
• Track record of generating area-level strategy beyond individual features
• Experience driving complex cross-team delivery across multiple SDKs or client libraries
• Deep understanding of technical behavior like timeouts versus cancellations

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with workflow engines, orchestration platforms, or durable execution
• Worked on cross-language or cross-platform products
• Familiarity with competitive landscape: Restate, Inngest, Durable Objects, Step Functions
