You'll lead veterinary nursing shifts at a growing emergency hospital network, owning the rhythm and flow to ensure top-tier care. You'll coordinate team huddles, break coverage, and on-the-floor coaching, keeping things smooth, safe, and supported. This role empowers you to jump in wherever needed and lead with heart and hustle.
π― What You'll Do
- Manage daily workflow and help the team pivot when unexpected issues arise
- Ensure shift roles are assigned and adapted with clarity and care
- Jump in on the floor when help is neededβno task is too small
- Lead shift transitions, team huddles, and start/end-of-day wrap-ups
π Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician or assistant role
- Strong grasp of clinical workflow and team dynamics
- Flexibility and willingness to step in wherever needed
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis
β¨ Nice to Have
- Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or enrolled in VEG Credentialing Support Program
- Experience in emergency or specialty medicine
- Leadership instincts and an ownership mindset
