💼 About This Role

You'll lead a backend/platform engineering team building identity verification APIs and real-time risk solutions that power SentiLink's core products. Your team will own the technical foundation ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across production systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and grow a team of backend/platform engineers
• Drive execution across planning, prioritization, and delivery
• Own technical direction of backend services and APIs
• Partner with product and front-end teams on architecture
• Collaborate with data science to productionize models

📋 Requirements

• 3-5+ years of engineering management leading backend or platform teams
• Strong background as a senior or staff-level backend engineer
• Deep experience building API-driven systems using Golang, Python, or similar
• Experience owning and evolving backend architecture in production environments

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building platforms for product teams (internal APIs, shared services)
• Familiarity with data-intensive systems, search (OpenSearch), or risk systems
• Experience in fintech or highly regulated environments
