💼 About This Role

You'll collaborate with development and test engineers to build and test optical systems for airborne, maritime, and space platforms. Your work will directly impact rapid prototyping of electro-mechanical assemblies. This role offers hands-on ownership of prototyping resources and exposure to cutting-edge defense technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and test optical systems for airborne, maritime, and space platforms
• Fabricate high-reliability electro-mechanical assemblies
• Develop and implement integration and test fixtures
• Own internal prototyping resources and manage R&D space

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years as a technician on complex electro-mechanical assemblies
• Soldering and crimping cables and connectors
• Basic electrical knowledge (Ohm's Law, wire sizing)
• Eligible for U.S. Secret security clearance

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with optical system alignment and characterization
• Familiarity with Solidworks, Altium, Matlab, Python, or Labview
• Experience with 3D printing or manual machine tools
