Description

In this project-based role, you'll join the BuzzFeed New York Post Production team to ingest media, prep videos in Adobe Premiere, and support editors with dailies and workflows. You'll also work on-site, help with QC and exports, and occasionally serve as a media manager on set.

Requirements

• 3+ years assistant editing digital content in professional environment
• Advanced knowledge of Mac OS, Google Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro
• Comfortable with common video codecs, formats, and timecode
• Detail-oriented, autonomous, able to adapt to changing timelines
• Proactive team player, able to guide projects from ingest to delivery

Responsibilities

• Ingest, transcode, organize, and archive footage
• Prep, sync multi-cam footage, create string outs and assembly cuts
• Conform assets for delivery to vendors (sound, color) and clients
• Address simple technical notes and in-video graphics in edits
• Assist Post-Production Coordinators in managing assets and production materials
