💼 About This Role

You'll join the Product Security team at Staffbase to improve security automation and pipelines. You'll explore AI for vulnerability detection and work with cross-functional stakeholders across product departments. This role offers hands-on experience in a global SaaS environment with mentorship from experienced engineers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Improve security automation and product security pipelines
• Proactively explore AI for vulnerability detection and remediation
• Enhance services with software engineering solutions
• Maintain web application firewall ruleset and email security metrics

📋 Requirements

• Programming knowledge in TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go, or Python
• Practical knowledge of Unix basics and Kubernetes infrastructure
• Practical knowledge of security topics like penetration testing, secure development, vulnerability management
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code via Terraform or Kustomize

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with SAST/DAST tools
• German language skills
