Description

As an Operations Manager at Carvana, you will oversee daily operations in an Inspection Center, leading a team of up to 70 associates in a lean manufacturing environment. Your focus will be on maintaining quality, production, and cost objectives while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high associate engagement.

Requirements

• 5 years of management experience in automotive or lean manufacturing
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Proven ability to achieve project deliverables and company metrics
• Valid unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record in last 3 years
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the Inspection Center
• Provide mentoring, accountability, and succession planning to direct reports
• Participate in strategic plan development and ensure alignment with company goals
• Ensure adherence to operating standards, policies, and performance standards
• Train and mentor associates; ensure progression path training and certification
