💼 About This Role

You'll lead the fraud & AML detection architecture for a payment systems company, designing and scaling rule engines and risk scoring pipelines. You'll own end-to-end technical decisions on monitoring systems and integrate ML models. This role offers the chance to shape detection strategy and work cross-functionally with data science and platform engineering.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead fraud & AML rule engine design and optimization.
• Integrate ML risk scores and behavioral signals into detection pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering on real-time alert systems and data streams.
• Manage a small team of technical analysts for monitoring logic.

📋 Requirements

• 6+ years in fraud/risk engineering or similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with fraud/AML rules engines or transaction monitoring systems.
• Strong SQL and familiarity with distributed data systems.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures and stream processing.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with fraud platforms like Feedzai, Featurespace, or Actimize.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Python experience for data analysis or prototype testing.
