Description

Lead the development and deployment of flight software for Neutron, a new medium-lift reusable rocket. You'll collaborate with GNC, HITL, and ground software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance, inspiring a high-performance culture focused on ownership and accountability.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
• 2+ years of direct people leadership experience
• 2+ years of project leadership experience in schedule-sensitive programs
• Experience with software deployment and CI tooling, data processing, and data engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead flight software development for Neutron from Flight 1 through upgrades
• Collaborate with GNC, Hardware-In-The-Loop, and ground software teams
• Ensure seamless integration and performance across all systems
• Inspire a high-performance culture of ownership, empowerment, and accountability
• Guide team through milestones, balancing priorities, resources, and risks
