Description

In this role, you will develop launch day concept of operations and automation systems for the Nova launch vehicle. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless transition from ground operations through launch, flight, and handoff to orbital or recovery operations, driving continuous improvement of launch day processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years experience in mission operations, launch systems, or related aerospace field
• Experience in vehicle automation, telemetry analysis, and command & control
• Experience operating and troubleshooting high pressure fluid or cryogenic systems
• Experience operating and troubleshooting mechanical/electrical/avionics systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine automation and software for test and launch operations
• Monitor telemetry and assess real-time launch commit criteria
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline integrated vehicle testing and launch site processing
• Aggregate engineering inputs to enable critical decision-making
• Advise on launch sequence adjustments and anomaly resolution
