Description

You will support origination efforts for the company's rapidly growing commercial real estate capital markets advisory platform in Phoenix, AZ. You'll identify and source clients for commercial real estate debt, equity, and advisory services, while working closely with senior originators to grow the platform. Your role involves originating, structuring, and closing financing transactions while developing strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant commercial real estate experience in advisory, investment banking or related areas
• Willingness to actively market to and call on potential new client relationships
• Proven track record or basic understanding of originating, underwriting and structuring commercial real estate debt and equity mandates
• Excellent due diligence, analytical, negotiating, deal structuring, and financial skills
• Team player who can assist with structuring and execution of deals sourced by Senior Originators
• Independent worker with strong client management skills and attention to details
• Ability to adjust to ever-changing business environment
• High level of integrity and professionalism with a hands-on, proactive style
• Entrepreneurial mindset with motivation to play critical role in platform growth
• Collaborative approach to building business

• BA required
• Advanced degree in commercial real estate or finance preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify and source new and existing clients for commercial real estate debt, equity, and advisory services
• Proactively develop, foster, and maintain strong relationships with owners, operators, and developers
• Originate, structure, and close commercial real estate financing transactions
• Use credit skills to identify strengths and weaknesses of transactions and create structural features to mitigate risks
• Work closely with senior originator to grow the capital markets advisory platform
• Utilize company resources to assist in originations, underwriting, risk mitigation, and closing
• Provide advisory services to clients with a goal to obtain trusted advisor status
• Participate in presentations and pitches with new and existing clients
• Monitor micro/macro CRE market conditions, attend conferences, and participate in industry events to identify new financing opportunities
