You will design, plan, and implement outside plant projects for copper and fiber telecom networks, from engineering drawings and permits to field coordination and construction support. Your work ensures efficient network expansion and compliance with standards.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with strong background in engineering, permitting, and construction coordination
• Experience with OSP projects involving copper and fiber networks
• Ability to manage budgets and ensure compliance with standards
• Proficiency with FROGS (CAD), Varasset, and SiteTracker tools
• Travel required for field coordination with municipal and government officials

Responsibilities

• Design and plan outside plant facilities for copper and fiber infrastructure
• Prepare engineering drawings, loop loss calculations, and switch serving area designs
• Develop project budgets and monitor actual costs
• Prepare and submit permit packages to agencies
• Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, and SSP contractors
