You'll perform aerodynamic design and simulations of Archer's eVTOL aircraft using CFD, running shape optimizations and developing high-fidelity models. 🎯 What You'll Do

  • Perform aerodynamic design and simulations using CFD
  • Run aerodynamic shape optimizations of vehicle components
  • Develop and maintain high-fidelity aerodynamic models
  • Correlate CFD results with flight test and wind tunnel data

📋 Requirements

  • BS/MS/PhD in Aeronautics Engineering or related field
  • 3+ years of experience modeling eVTOL aerodynamics with CFD
  • Strong understanding of fixed-wing and rotorcraft aerodynamics
  • Proficiency in NASA Overflow CFD software

✨ Nice to Have

  • Experience with NASA Fun3D CFD software
  • Familiarity with HELIOS computational framework
  • Experience performing acoustic analysis
