💼 About This Role

You'll design and maintain highly scalable Kubernetes platforms using SUSE Rancher for a critical NATO program. You'll ensure zero-downtime deployments and automated CI/CD pipelines across hybrid environments. This role requires NATO Secret clearance and offers a chance to shape enterprise DevOps at an apex purchaser.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, and evolve highly scalable Kubernetes platforms with SUSE Rancher.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of RKE/RKE2 clusters across hybrid environments.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines with GitOps workflows.
• Monitor platform health with Prometheus/Grafana and troubleshoot container issues.

📋 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on DevOps or Platform Engineering experience.
• Over 4 years designing and maintaining production Kubernetes clusters with SUSE Rancher.
• Proven experience migrating legacy apps to containerized microservices.
• Expertise in automated infrastructure provisioning with Ansible and GitOps.

• Experience with Rancher Observability.
• Knowledge of zero-trust models and container security.
• Experience with distributed Kubernetes across bare-metal, vSphere, and public clouds.
