💼 About This Role

You'll design SiC-based propulsion power electronics for hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft, including motor drives and DC/DC converters. Your core impact is delivering flight-ready hardware that meets aggressive power-density and efficiency targets. You'll work with a team of experts on fast iteration loops in aerospace.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Architect and design SiC-MOSFET-based motor drives and converters.
• Lead schematic capture and PCB layout for high-voltage power stages.
• Design gate-drive circuits and magnetic components.
• Lead thermal design and EMI/EMC mitigation.
• Define protection architecture and drive component qualification.

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years designing high-power motor drives or converters.
• Expertise in SiC MOSFET converter design from concept to bring-up.
• Experience with Altium or equivalent for high-voltage PCB layout.

• Experience with aerospace certification standards (DO-160, DO-254).
