💼 About This Role

You'll be the first dedicated security leader at Candid Health, building the team and systems to protect patient data. You'll partner with Engineering and Product leadership to ensure fast innovation without compromising data integrity. This role offers the chance to scale a security organization from the ground up.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Hire and manage a team of security engineers.
• Lead the security roadmap from foundational to enterprise-grade.
• Prioritize security initiatives and advise executive leadership.
• Oversee HIPAA, SOC2, SOC1, PCI, HITRUST compliance processes.
• Act as security evangelist and educate employees.

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in security engineering.
• Proven track record building and leading security teams.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to audit systems, networks, and IT setups.

• Experience with SOC2, SOC1, PCI, HITRUST.
