You'll build and maintain backend platform services and infrastructure that enable fast, reliable product delivery at Pinwheel, a fintech partnering with top brands. Your work will directly support teams deploying microservices in Kubernetes, scaling secure systems, and improving developer workflows. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Build and maintain backend platform services and features
• Develop internal libraries and tooling using Go and Python
• Design and operate authentication, PKI, and secure data storage systems
• Provision, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure for reliability and scalability
• Manage microservices in Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and Helm

📋 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of backend software engineering experience
• 2+ years of platform, infrastructure, or DevOps experience
• Strong experience with Python and/or Go
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform and Helm for IaC

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with PKI, encryption, mTLS, or security-focused infrastructure
• Familiarity with GitOps tools like Flux or ArgoCD
• Exposure to compliance frameworks like PCI, SOC 2, or ISO
