💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement a distributed control plane for Confluent Cloud, working with Kubernetes and Terraform in a fast-paced Scrum environment. Your work will directly impact how data streams in near real-time for customers. The team values collaboration and continuous delivery, pairing heavily and supporting each other in an agile XP-inspired process.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Delve deep into the Kubernetes framework and contribute internally.
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform and internal tooling, deploy via Helm.
• Work iteratively in a Scrum environment with DevOps practices.
• Ship code, operate it, and support it before and after release.

📋 Requirements

• Strong software design and implementation skills in infrastructure frameworks.
• Deep expertise in building distributed systems.
• Experience with Go, C++, Java, or Python.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience building control planes (virtualization, SDN, storage).
• Experience building RESTful and gRPC APIs.
• Open source contributions to Kubernetes sigs or adjacent projects.
