Description

As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Puffco, you'll design and deliver innovative cannabis vaporizer products, collaborating cross-functionally from concept to mass production. You'll own the mechanical design using CAD and rapid prototyping, while driving manufacturability and quality across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years industry experience in mechanical design and consumer product development
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD, with portfolio of past work
• Experience in DFM, DFA, statistical tolerance analysis, GD&T
• Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing techniques (injection molding, extrusion, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models, part and assembly drawings, BOMs, and complex surfacing
• Contribute to mechanical solutions as part of cross-functional team
• Support product ideation through new technology assessments and prototype testing
• Work across full product development cycle from concept to shipping
• Lead mechanical design reviews including tolerance analysis, FEA, DFM, and tooling
