๐Ÿ’ผ About This Role

You'll design the world's first continuous fusion fuel cycle at a leading fusion power company. You'll own delivery of major fuel cycle systems from concept through integration, defining plant-level philosophy and tradeoffs. This role operates at the intersection of process design, system integration, and program strategy to deliver a closed-loop fuel cycle.

๐ŸŽฏ What You'll Do

  • Own delivery of major fuel cycle systems from concept through commissioning.
  • Define plant-level fuel cycle philosophy and tradeoffs across systems.
  • Use first-principles analysis and simulation to evaluate steady-state and fault scenarios.
  • Set technical direction for detailed design of process equipment.
  • Develop and maintain core engineering deliverables like PFDs, P&IDs, and HAZOPs.

๐Ÿ“‹ Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical, Mechanical, or Nuclear Engineering.
  • 12+ years of experience in chemical process design.
  • Deep expertise in transport phenomena, thermodynamics, and reaction engineering.
  • Demonstrated ownership of large-scale integrated systems.
  • Accountable as technical authority for a technology domain.

โœจ Nice to Have

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) preferred.
  • Experience with isotope separation, tritium handling, or cryogenic systems.
  • Experience with first-of-a-kind hardware development.
