Description
You will prepare restaurant and banquet food according to standardized recipes, develop daily specials, maintain inventory, and ensure kitchen cleanliness and sanitation. Your work directly impacts guest satisfaction and the reputation of 42 Bar and Table.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of cooking experience including food preparation
- Knowledge of banquet service standards
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work varying schedule including nights and early mornings
Responsibilities
- Prepare food according to standardized recipes with attention to sanitation, safety, and quality
- Develop and produce daily specials for restaurant and banquet
- Maintain inventory levels and advise supervisor of low inventory
- Maintain a clean workspace and comply with all policies
- Train and coach line and banquet staff on proper cooking and recipe setup
