Description

You will focus on finding and responding to security vulnerabilities across the Brex platform—performing code reviews, penetration testing, and building security tooling. You'll collaborate with engineering teams to secure AI-driven features and ensure world-class security for our financial services.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in Application Security or related role
• Ability to find vulnerabilities in complex systems and demonstrate business impact through custom attack chains
• Experience with threat modeling, developer education, and incident response
• Knowledge of Python, scripting languages, and AI/agentic workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and articulate business impact to drive prioritization
• Perform penetration testing and design reviews, work with engineering to design secure features
• Maintain and build internal tools for SAST, DAST, and secure development practices
• Build a culture of collaborative security excellence through technical leadership and mentorship
