Description
In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive workplace safety program covering OSHA compliance, incident investigation, and field safety training, while also supporting fleet operations including driver safety and vehicle compliance. You'll build a proactive 'Safety First' culture across the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in Occupational Safety/Health (EHS) or related field
- Deep knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards and multi-state compliance
- OSHA-30 certification or equivalent (CSP/CDS), or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Proven experience building safety programs, writing SOPs, and conducting hazard assessments
- Proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for data analysis and reporting
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain company-wide safety policies and programs (IIPP)
- Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and risk assessments across operating markets
- Lead incident investigations, root-cause analyses, and corrective actions
- Design and deliver safety training on PPE, ladder safety, chemical handling, defensive driving, etc.
- Ensure OSHA, DOT, and multi-state regulatory compliance, maintain safety documentation
