Description

You will lead end-to-end operational readiness for our electric vehicle fleet at Sony Honda Mobility of America, ensuring every vehicle is safe, compliant, and operational across testing, demos, and employee use. Your role is highly cross-functional, partnering with Engineering, IT, and Legal to build scalable processes as we approach commercialization.

Requirements

• 6+ years in fleet operations, vehicle operations, or automotive operations
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance, vendors, and logistics
• Strong understanding of licensing, registration, insurance, and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to develop operational processes and work cross-functionally
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Own fleet maintenance strategy across pre-production, production, demo, and employee vehicles
• Oversee OTA software updates, vehicle licensing, registration, and compliance
• Manage internal employee fleet program including usage policies and vehicle assignment
• Handle fleet-related accounts (insurance, charging, connected services) and cost controls
• Develop SOPs, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics for fleet operations
