Description

You will design, develop, and test in-house simulation software supporting all SpaceX flight systems, working across engineering groups to build high-fidelity simulations for vehicles like Falcon, Dragon, and Starship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS, engineering, math, or STEM + 5 years experience in software development, or 7+ years experience in lieu of degree
• 2+ years development experience in C++
• Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing
• Understanding of distributed computing, networking, memory management, and CPU scheduling
• Willing to work extended hours and weekends

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-fidelity real-time simulation software for all vehicles
• Develop prototypes to prove out design concepts and quantify technical constraints
• Improve reliability and performance of simulation software
• Work with users to develop new features and improve user experiences
