Description

You will assist with launch site assembly and test of the Falcon 9 launch vehicle, working with flight hardware and test equipment to support successful launches. The role involves hands-on operations, troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineers to implement process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate
• 2+ years of hands-on technician experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, manufacturing, oil/gas, or a trade certificate
• Ability to work any shift, overtime, and weekends
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, work at heights up to 300 feet, and in confined spaces
• Must pass Air Force background check for Vandenberg Space Force Base

Responsibilities

• Stage, set up, and assemble flight hardware per technical work instructions
• Proficiently use mechanical tools and heavy machinery
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks per asset management system
• Troubleshoot and install fluid and electromechanical components from schematics
• Coordinate launch vehicle movements and integrated pressurized ground operations
