💼 About This Role

You'll gain hands-on emergency medicine experience alongside credentialed veterinary technicians in a fast-paced ER environment. You'll engage in patient triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and inpatient care. This externship offers real-time mentoring and immersion in emergency care.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Pair with a credentialed veterinary technician for real-time mentoring
• Shadow and assist with triage, outpatient visits, diagnostics, and anesthesia
• Practice skills required by your school's proficiency checklist
• Experience teamwork and pace of emergency care

📋 Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology or nursing program
• Enrolled in a course that requires externship hours or skills
• Able to start the program within six months of application
• Current rabies vaccination or titer required
