Description

As a member of our Assistive Care team, you will support clients one-on-one with activities of daily living, helping them stay safe and independent at home. You'll follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care, household support, and companion care services.

Requirements

• At least one year of work experience (any job)
• Completed recognized HHA training course and certified as Home Health Aide in NJ
• Passion for caregiving and helping others
• Commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and mechanical lifting devices
