Description

As a Principal Customer Success Manager at Couchbase, you will manage strategic enterprise customer relationships, ensuring successful adoption and value realization of our database and data platform solutions. You'll act as a trusted advisor to technical and executive stakeholders, driving long-term retention and expansion.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or similar customer-facing role
  • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS, database, or infrastructure platforms
  • Ability to work with technical stakeholders such as developers and architects
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Experience with CRM and customer success platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary post-sales point of contact for enterprise and strategic customers
  • Conduct regular business reviews and success planning sessions
  • Guide customers through onboarding, deployment, and adoption of Couchbase solutions
  • Identify opportunities for expansion such as additional workloads or product capabilities
  • Monitor customer health indicators and proactively address adoption risks
