Description

You'll design, build, and operate critical distributed systems powering Okta's identity platform, working on authentication pipelines, protocols, and user sessions at global scale. You'll collaborate across teams, drive architectural improvements, and mentor engineers.

Requirements

• 4+ years professional software development experience
• Proficiency in backend services with Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript)
• Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Strong commitment to quality with testing strategies (unit, integration, E2E)
• Product-oriented mindset

Responsibilities

• Build innovative features extending Auth0's platform capabilities
• Own technical quality, security, reliability, and scalability of systems
• Drive architectural improvements and advocate for engineering best practices
• Work cross-functionally with Product, Security, Design, Architecture, and QA
• Participate in an on-call rotation for critical services
