Description

You will lead and oversee all fund-level capital activity and cash flow operations across StepStone-managed vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely execution of capital calls, distributions, and investment funding. You will coordinate with various internal teams and third-party administrators, drive control frameworks, and lead the Cash Flow organization to improve processes and reduce risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; CPA preferred
• 8+ years of experience in fund accounting, treasury, or cash flow operations within private markets
• Deep expertise in capital calls, distributions, investment funding, and cash flow mechanics across complex fund structures
• Proven experience leading large, operationally intensive teams in a fast-paced environment
• Strong judgment and executive presence in high-stakes, time-sensitive situations

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership over capital calls, distributions, investment funding, and expense-related cash flows across multiple asset classes
• Establish clear ownership and accountability across asset-class-aligned Cash Flow teams
• Drive SOX-aligned controls, documentation standards, and review rigor for capital activity
• Serve as escalation point for complex, high-risk, or time-sensitive capital events
• Lead and develop a multi-layered Cash Flow organization, including senior managers, managers, and analysts
