💼 About This Role

You'll operate as a full-stack engineer on the Help Center team, building customer-facing experiences and backend services that power knowledge discovery and case creation. You'll design and evolve APIs and UI experiences that shape how millions of support interactions begin, ensuring they are context-aware and deeply integrated with Toast's ecosystem.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain the Help Center experience through full stack development
• Collaborate with UX, PM, QA and Engineering to define and build best-in-class solutions
• Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with Java, Kotlin, or other OOP languages
• Strong hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React
• Proficient with modern API standards like REST and GraphQL
• Proven ability to own complex features end-to-end from design through production

• Experience with AI tooling such as Cursor, Claude, and MCP servers
• Experience in multi-product environments
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
