You'll own the performance and stability of VEG's data layer, architecting a roadmap to scale from startup to global enterprise. You'll build resilient, self-healing systems that eliminate toil and empower medical teams providing life-saving care. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Analyze database access patterns and design optimizations in Postgres and Python.
• Architect roadmap to transition data layer to global enterprise scale.
• Build observability stack for predictable automated alerts.
• Define SLOs and enforce database best practices for resilience and security.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DBRE/DBA/SRE/DevOps roles managing production databases.
• Deep PostgreSQL internal expertise (MVCC, indexing, query optimization).
• Proven track record managing RDS for PostgreSQL across Multi-AZ deployments.
• Experience designing and executing roadmap from single primary to multi-cluster database environment.

✨ Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience with caching layers or service-specific data stores.
• Familiarity with RDS Proxy and high-concurrency traffic.
