🎯 What You'll Do

• Create 2D preliminary and submittal drawings in AutoCAD from architectural plans.
• Develop seating layouts that maximize capacity while following building codes.
• Verify code compliance of marking on approved drawings from architects.
• Contribute to product standardization by maintaining drawing templates and libraries.
• Collaborate with engineers and stock billers to clarify drawing requirements.

📋 Requirements

• High school diploma required; CAD certificate or Associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of professional CAD or design/drafting experience.
• Strong 2D AutoCAD skills with production-level efficiency in layers, blocks, and xrefs.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and translate them into accurate seating layouts.

• Welding knowledge and ability to read welding symbols.
• Understanding of manufacturing terminology (e.g., BOM).
• Experience with 3D CAD software.
