💼 About This Role

You'll drive reliability execution for photonic components in a well-funded startup backed by Mayfield. Partner with R&D to provide early reliability input and define qualification plans aligned with Telcordia and JEDEC standards. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the optical infrastructure for AI supercomputing.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Drive reliability execution for Silicon Photonics ICs and lasers
• Define and execute qualification plans per Telcordia/GR-468 and JEDEC
• Conduct accelerated life testing and failure analysis
• Lead supplier qualification and audits for photonics components

📋 Requirements

• M.S. in EE, Photonics, Physics, or related field
• 3-5 years photonics reliability engineering experience
• Experience with NPI programs from concept to volume production
• Proficiency in reliability modeling (Weibull, Arrhenius) and tools like JMP

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in integrated photonics packaging and co-design
• Familiarity with wafer-level reliability and optical wafer probing
• Prior engagements with Tier-1 datacenter customers
